‘Game of Thrones’ season 8: Jon Snow’s Wife trying Hard To Avoid Hearing Spoilers

As a former cast member and the fiancée of the actor who plays an integral role in “Game of Thrones,” one would think that Rose Leslie knows all juicy details about the show’s final season. However, that is actually not the case.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Leslie shared she hates spoilers so much that she even refuses to watch beau Kit Harrington, aka Jon Snow, read “Game of Thrones” scripts.

“I for sure ask Kit not to show me his excitement after he has read an episode, simply because I don’t want to read anything in his eyes,” said the actress who portrayed Jon Snow’s deceased first love, Ygritte, on the show. “So when he’s at the other end of the room and reading the episode, it’s like, no … we are not going to have eye contact for a long time. Go make a cup of tea. Calm down.”

Still, just like the rest of the fans, Leslie is very excited about “Game of Thrones” season 8. “I know the anticipation is killing a lot of people, and my God the build-up is fantastic,” she gushed. “I can’t wait until next year.”

Leslie and Harrington have reportedly started dating since 2012. They went public about their relationship in 2016 before announcing their engagement September last year. The soon-to-be-married couple has yet to announce the official wedding date but they already revealed their plans of inviting all their castmates, shutting down the show’s production for a day.
