The group was also at the office of the International Committee of the Red Cross and the United Nations Children’s Fund in Abuja.

In a statement signed by Florence Ozor, Oby Ezekwesili and Aisha Yesufu, the group called for the release of Leah Sharibu.

“We wish to call on the government of President Muhammadu Buhari to immediately give justice of rescue to the two remaining citizens of our country who were abducted while serving our compatriots. Alice and Hauwa deserve immediate rescue.

“They must not be abandoned with their captors any further. Our 112 Chibok girls and Leah Sharibu must be immediately rescued. It is too long that they have been forgotten and no status update given by the President and his administration on them.”
