Jamie Vardy unfollows Wayne Rooney over war between their wives

Leicester City player, Jamie Vardy has unfollowed former Manchester United player, Wayne Rooney on social media.

This is following Wayne Rooney’s wife, Colleen Rooney, calling out Jamie Vardy’s wife, Rebekah Vardy on social media.

Colleen had accused Rebekah Vardy of selling fake stories about her to The Sun Magazine.

A source told the publication: ‘Jamie has always got on well with Wayne, but he won’t stand for having his wife hung out to dry in public like this.’

An Insider revealed that Jamie Vardy decided to unfollow Rooney and stand by his wife who is now fighting to prove her innocence.

Said a friend: ‘He’s totally behind Becky and furious with the Rooneys for the way they have gone about this.

‘He and Wayne always got on well and he likes him. But he has made his feelings clear. Cutting him off on social media is a totally deliberate snub.’
