Premium entertainment and gaming brand, Betway is finding new ways to make a difference and give back to society. Being the headline sponsor of Big Brother Naija, the company will be partnering with the current housemates to lead a new corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative tagged ‘Betway M.A.D.’

As viewers of the show very well know, the Big Brother Naija housemates are frequently given tasks to complete either as individuals or as a team. These tasks usually challenge the housemates’ minds, creativity, and ability to think on their feet.

Big Brother will introduce a new task where groups of housemates get to compete for 500,000 Naira and an opportunity to do some social good and touch lives.

Each group makes a passionate appeal for a charitable initiative that’s close to their heart. The initiatives they will be choosing from include, access to clean water, food security, sports development, mental health, gender-based violence, tertiary education and development, among others.

The task presentation will take place on September 18 while the winning group will be announced on September 25. The eventual winner will get the 500,000 Naira cash prize and have their initiative funded by Betway after BBNaija season 5 ends.

Viewers can also predict who the winners will be by dialing *205# for a chance to win a part of 15 Million Naira from Betway.

As the headline sponsor of Big Brother Naija, and as an international entertainment company, Betway cares and is constantly seeking ways to use its platforms to give back to the Nigerian community, and this is just one example.
