Mikel Obi’s Twins are set to go to School for the First Time

Popular Nigerian Super Eagles star John Mikel Obi has celebrated his beautiful daughters with alluring words on social media.

The former Chelsea defensive midfielder who is currently  signed to Stoke City after making a switch this summer, posted via his Instagram on Tuesday being September 8 shared an adorable photo of his beautiful daughters. According to Mikel, his daughters are his world and he’s super proud to be their father.

For him, watching them grow brings him so much joy. He also reminded them of his undying love for them.

In his words… “Am so proud of you two. You two are my world love you my angels so much and am the happiest dad seeing you two grow up so fast with your attitudes so proud, first day of grown up school daddy loves you two so so much.”

Mikel Obi  will be playing in England for the third time in his career. He signed to EFL outfit Stoke City this summer after leaving Trabzonspor.

The 33-year-old Nigerian has been a free agent since his contract with Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor was terminated in March which is believed to be due to speaking out against the club for going on with league fixtures in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

Stoke makes it the second Championship club Mikel would play for having been with Middlesbrough between January and May 2019 and was dubbed the “African Zidane” by the supporters. This makes it his third stint in England, if you add his time with Chelsea FC.
