Reggae Star Majek Fashek finally laid to rest in the United States

Popular Reggae music star, Majek Fashek has finally been been laid to rest in the United States of America, on 21st of August 2020.

You might recall that few weeks ago, it was widely reported that the legend would be buried in New York, United States where he died.

This was after efforts to raise funds to fly his body to Nigeria proved abortive due to financial institutions not in operation and movement restriction in movement due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Reports have it that only members of the artiste’s immediate family attended the event.

Majek who died months back from cancer related illness had been sick for a while.

The rain maker as he was sometimes called did not show any signs of recovery from his illness while in Nigeria, leading to his being flown to London and later to the United States.
