Our favourite Soul and Alternative artiste Jason returns with a new video to the amazing song- “Dependent”, as he reaffirms his subservience to the Most High in this emotive tune.
His words:
This song was birthed in a season of despair; when everything seemed to be failing. I was struggling to stand after doing everything I knew to do.
Waiting on The Lord can be a trying experience, but the result is always glorious. It is in waiting we’re reminded of and come to terms with God’s everlasting omniscient omnipotence. I realize that my dependence on the Holy Spirit activates the power required for every circumstance.
I believe everyone needs that dependence on God with all that is happening in our world today. If you’re at a place of confusion and despair, or if you’re at a point where you need to reaffirm and remind yourself to trust in God, this song is for you.
All our systems and best efforts have either failed or are failing. We need to return to a posture of total dependence on God. He rules in the affairs of men.
