Mayorkun is the New ‘Karate Kid’, as Davido Mentors him to be A Samurai in “THE BEST” Video
Davido has released the official music video for his hit single “The Best” featuring Mayorkun. The song is a track off his latest album, A Better Time.
In the Ninja-themed video, Mayorkun, with a scroll in hand, sojourns to a martial arts camp where he meets people clad in the traditional uniform used for Ninjitsu practice. He meets with the master of the camp, Davido, who dorns a black robe along with an Asian conical hat, with a red sheathed sword by his side.
Super star singer Wande Coal makes a cameo in the video with reference to the part in the song “shey you sing pass Wande Coal?” – Wande is seen coaching a class of students in Karate costume as their sensei.
Davido is then seen putting Mayorkun through rigorous training, preparing him for tasks ahead.
Davido and DMW went all out for this one! The video is everything we hoped for and more.
