Reno Omokri links Asari Dakubo to Nnamdi Kanu’s rearrest
Nnamdi Kanu’s Arrest: Reno Omokri sites feud with Asari Dokubo as reason.
Reno Omokri, a former Presidential spokesperson to former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, in a recent statement, has linked Asari Dokubo to the rearrest of IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.
Recall that the reports of Kanu’s arrest went viral on Tuesday after it was made public by the Federal Government.
There are have different speculations over Kanu’s rearrest.
In a recent post via his Social Media, Omokri suggested that Asari Dokubo, an ex-Niger Delta Militant, may be the link to Kanu’s rearrest.
The former presidential spokesperson recalled how Dokubo threatened to bring Kanu down a few weeks ago.
Omokri wrote: “Exactly 2 weeks ago, Nnamdi Kanu quarrelled with Asari Dokubo and Asari promised to deal with him. He even swore on the Quran.
“Asari’s exact words on June 14 were “I will surely bring you down.”
“And now this. Is it a coincidence?
“Don’t make unnecessary enemies.”
Dokubo and Kanu have their differences as regards the agitation for Biafra.
The ex-militant claimed that Kanu was using the agitation for business.
