Angry youths in Ikorodu have demanded late singer, Mohbad be given a befitting burial.
In a video captured online, the youths were seen obstructing the burial of the singer as they noted how he deserves to be buried in a better place because of his celebrity status.
Family members of the singer are currently at Ikorodu cemetery, where the young champ is supposed to be buried. Unfortunately, they met with opposition as the youths demanded the singer’s family give him a befitting burial.

Kemi Filani reported on Tuesday that Mohbad had passed away at 27.
The devastating news was confirmed by Entertainment journalist, Ovie, who revealed that the former Marlian signee kicked the bucket on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.
The singer’s family released a statement confirming his death.
His family stated that the singer was finally at peace, as they appreciated the public for their love and prayers and begged for privacy as they navigated the difficult time.
Though the cause of his death is yet to be ascertained, sources close to the late singer’s family and friends had disclosed that Mohbad succumbed to complications arising from a severe ear infection.
According to the source, the singer had gone to the hospital to treat complications arising from an ear infection, unfortunately, he gave up the ghost after receiving an injection.
The news wasn’t well received by many as they believed there was more to his death.
Many celebrities like Iyabo Ojo, Olamide, Davido, Bukunmi Oluwasina, Tacha, and Do2dtun; to mention but a few mourned him. Even his former label boss, Naira Marley, and his former label mate, Zinoleesky paid their last respect to him.
