It’s been another exciting week on the Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem reunion show. As fans look forward to the start of the fifth season of what is unarguably the biggest reality TV show out of Africa,, the ‘Pepper Dem’ housemates from last season have reunited to look back at their stay in the house on the hottest reunion show yet. This week, they got to hash out their different issues and call people out on their bad habits. Here are some of the juicy highlights from the super dramatic week.
BET has just announced the nominees for The BET Awards 2020 with Canadian rapper Drake leading the pack with six nominations. This year’s nominees reflect an abundance of creative expression and black excellence across music, television, film, sports, and philanthropy. The awards will simulcast LIVE at 01:00 WAT on June 29th making its international broadcast premiere on BET Africa (DStv Channel 129) with a repeat broadcast at 18:00 WAT on the same day.
It’s been over seven months since season four of the Big Brother Naija show came to an end. In fact, it’s been so long, that Big Brother Naija season five is scheduled to begin in the coming weeks. Since the show ended in October 2019, the housemates have moved on with their various lives. They have started businesses, received brand endorsement deals, engaged in romantic relationship, amidst other life milestones. Mercy and Ike notably got their own reality show.
In an unusual but necessary way, virtual parties have become a thing that fun lovers have come to embrace given the times we are all in. While they might not have all the physical party elements like bumping into one another while dancing, they bring limitless fun, and that is often all that matters.
From last week’s episode, Mercy and Ike had a long conversation about some of their issues and they made up. We also watch Mercy go to Ike’s place to cook him a pot of pepper soup and Ike went to audition for a role in Tinsel.
