    PDP vows to Beat Sanwo-Olu in Lagos

    The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has stated that the emergence of Babajide Sanwo-Olu as the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) will enable an easy victory for the PDP in next year’s governorship election in the state. The party’s Publicity Secretary, Gani Taofik, said the APC and Sanwo-Olu would be beating black and blue. The party also added that a national leader of the APC, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, rejected the second term bid of the incumbent governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, because of alleged disagreement in the sharing of the state’s resources.

    Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District in the National Assembly and factional senatorial candidate in the 2019 general election has been expelled with immediate effect from the Delta State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) led by Cyril Abeye Ogodo It was gathered that an emergency meeting of the State Working Committee (SWC ) was held in Asaba on Wednesday, and the party revealed its decision to expel Omo Agege from the party followed his “unabated involvement in anti-party activities”.
