‘Anikulapo’ leads with Most Nominations, Followed by ‘Brotherhood’ & ‘Shanty Town’. SEE ALL nominees for the 9th edition of the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards #AMVCA9 It’s Official! The nominees of the 9th edition of the prestigious Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards have been announced. The nominees were announced on Sunday night by Bisola Aiyeola and Adjetey Anang alongside child actors, Jasmine Olarotimi and Nifemi Lawal.
Throughout the month of March, Africa Magic has been releasing new films and re-broadcasting Nollywood classics. Africa Magic Urban will air 15 new movies this month and 15 Nollywood classics. While, Showcase will air 25 never-before-seen films, of which 14 are Africa Magic originals. Several of these films have already premiered. However, this weekend, two of three original indigenous films will premiere. Adele Oba and Igba Nkwu will go live on Sunday, March 26, 2023, on Africa Magic Yoruba (DStv ch. 157) and Africa Magic Igbo (DStv ch. 159). The Hausa indigenous film Asali Zunubi aired earlier in the month on March 19.

Judging Matters is the new reality TV show aimed at addressing small claims and minor cases in Lagos.
