Nigeria’s former Minister of Petroleum, Diezani Alison-Madueke, has been acquitted of six bribery charges on Wednesday, following a corruption trial at London’s Southwark Crown Court. She faced five counts of accepting bribes and one count of conspiracy to commit bribery.
The Federal Government under Inter-ministerial committee on the disposal of assets forfeited to the federal government have begun the process of selling forfeited assets in 52 locations across the country. The Chairman of the committee, Dayo Apata revealed this during a press conference on Tuesday.
