    New facts have emerged over the trailer accident that occurred on Saturday night in Iworoko, Irepodun/Ifelodun Local Government Area of Ekiti State, killing many persons. It has been revealed that the truck was transporting branded rice, some of which had posters of a senatorial candidate of the Ondo State All Progressives Congress (APC), Tayo Alasoadura, from Abuja, and was en route the Ifaki-Iworoko road in Ado Ekiti, when the incident occurred.     Ekiti Mourns: Many feared dead as Trailer rams into Market

    More than 20 persons have reportedly died on last night in Iworoko, Ekiti State as a trailer rammed into a market, while it was coming from the Ifaki area of the state. While trying to use the kerps on the road as a stoppage, the trailer was said to have lost control, rammed into a minibus, and swerved onto the other side of the road, claiming lives and properties.     Evening Robbery In Ekiti Pandemonium broke out on Wednesday evening in Igede Ekiti, Ekiti state after a group of armed robbers stormed a branch of Union Bank of Nigeria and killed at least one person in the process. According to reports, the robbers who were well armed and prepared – stormed the town by 5pm and held the area hostage for over 30 minutes while shooting sporadically as security agents were nowhere to be found.
