    Game of Thrones star Sophie Turner, weds Joe Jonas

    Game of Thrones star, Sophie Turner, has wedded Joe Jonas, whom she has been dating since November 2016. The 23-year-old English actress made her professional acting debut as Sansa Stark in the HBO fantasy television series Game of Thrones which started running in 2011. The 29-year-old Jonas is an American singer and songwriter, as well as a member of Pop Rock band – Jonas Brothers, that include his biological brothers, Kevin and Nick.

    The third episode of the final season, which aired on DStv last night entitled The Long Night, featured arguably the most epic battle in GOT history and brought to an end a major arc for the series. Taking place entirely at Winterfell, The Long Night depicted the battle between the Army of the Dead and the combined armies of the living – the Dothraki, the Unsullied, the Knights of the Vale, and the host of the North. Notably, Cersei’s army was nowhere to be seen.

    Winter Is Coming! (at least for the last time) Game of Thrones’ eighth and final season will premiere on April 14, 2019. Announced by HBO, the date was accompanied alongside a teaser that features Jon Snow, Arya Stark and Sansa Stark walking through the Crypt of Winterfell. As Jon, Arya, and Sansa are walking through the crypt, we hear from some of those no longer with us, and the teaser ends with the three characters arriving at statues of themselves, as darkness and ice threaten to consume them.
