Moments ago, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, declared the Saturday September 22nd governorship election in Osun state inconclusive. The electoral body said the number of cancelled votes is higher than the margin between the top two candidates. The Returning Officer of for the Ekiti State governorship election, Professor Idowu Olayinka has declared Dr Kayode Fayemi the All Progressive Congress candidate as the winner of the election. The APC candidate won with 197,459 votes Osinbajo and Fayemi.
