The first season of the Big Brother Naija reality TV show aired from March 5 to June 4, 2006. It then went off-air for 11 years until it made a comeback in 2017. Since it first aired as ‘Big Brother Nigeria’ in 2006, there have been four successful seasons of the show. Each season takes on a new theme that speaks to the pop-culture of the time in the country, current happenings and the type of characters (housemates) in the house.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy has been accused by a member of his own church of staging miracle-healing sessions. According to a report from South Africa, followers have accused the clergy of hiring people to pretend to be sick and disabled. These actors are then healed during his television shows and public prayer meetings. “I was offered R10 000 to rehearse and pretend to be in a wheelchair three weeks before the all-night prayer called Night of Bliss at the Johannesburg Stadium,” the report quoted a member of the church.

Big brother Naija housemates, Nina and Miracle were on Saturday night caught making love in the house. Both housemates made love under the blanket around 1 :30 am Nigerian time. .
