Nicklas Bendtner has confirmed his retirement from professional football at the age of 33. The 33-year-old striker, who made 81 appearances for Denmark during a 12-year international career, made a name for himself during memorable spells at Arsenal, Juventus, Wolfsburg and Rosenborg, to name just a few.
