Incumbent Governor of Edo state, Godwin Obaseki has opened up as to why the suspended national chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC), Adams Oshiomhole is angry with him. According to the statement released by his media aide, Crusoe Osagie , Obaseki alleged that Oshiomhole is angry with him because he didn’t allow him become his godfather. He further disclosed that, Oshiomhole supported him in 2016 because he had a hidden motive of using him as a pawn to defraud the people of the state.
In what seems to be a slip of tongue, Oshiomhole, might just have said what his mind really thought about the Osun Governorship election. Though he was able to correct his words in a split of a second, it was already out before eating back his word. In the video, Oshiomhole says that, only people who can accept the pain of “rigging”before quickly realising his mistake and changing his statement to “defeat” during a live “victory” speech after the emergence of APC as the winner of the Osun state gubernatorial election.
