Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar wins PDP Presidential primaries Former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar has emerged winner of the presidential primaries of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) held in Port Harcourt over Saturday night, 6th October through to Sunday morning, 7th October. Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has now emerged the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP for the 2019 presidential election following Sunday’s election. He came top ahead of 11 other aspirants at the end of the party’s presidential nomination convention. He polled about 1,500 more than the combined votes of all the other aspirants.
Jimi Agbaje has just emerged winner of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship primary election in Lagos state after polling 1, 100 votes to defeat his closest contender, Deji Doherty who garnered 742 votes.
