The Nigerian superstar will headline the Crystal Palace Bowl in London on August 14, 2026, in what he has described as his sole outdoor appearance in the city this summer.
The singer broke the news on social media with characteristic flair, introducing the concept to fans: “For the first time ever I present to you… Davido & Friends Festival. It’s going down at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14th. Sign up for first access.” He followed up with ticketing details, noting that pre-sale access opened on March 26 at 10am GMT, with general sale beginning the following morning at the same time.
What sets this event apart from a standard headline show is Davido’s dual role — performing and handpicking the full lineup himself. The “& Friends” branding has already set fan communities buzzing with speculation over who might join him on stage, though no supporting acts have been confirmed yet.
The festival slots into the wider “Palace Bowl Presents” series, a curated run of outdoor shows at the venue spanning July 31 through August 16. Gospel heavyweights Tasha Cobbs Leonard and Kirk Franklin are among those headlining other dates in the series.
