GLOBAL MUSIC SUPERSTARS MR EAZI AND KING PROMISE UNVEIL HIGHLY ANTICIPATED JOINT ALBUM ‘SEE WHAT WE’VE DONE’
Out now via emPawa Africa, SEE WHAT YOU’VE DONE is the glorious new album from GRAMMY Award-winning trailblazer and creative innovator MR EAZI and international afropop sensation KING PROMISE. Powered by a longstanding creative connection and real-life friendship, the 9-track project captures two artists coming together at exactly the right moment, turning years of shared history, mutual respect and musical chemistry into a purposeful and effortless body of work. Following the success of its lead singles – the nostalgic Backstreet Boys interpolating ‘That Way’, the sun-drenched romantic drop ‘Mariana’, and the celebratory title track ‘See What We’ve Done’, the album marks a defining new chapter for two of African music’s most influential voices.

Carefully curated across nine tracks with production from an elite cast including GRAMMY-winning hitmakers GuiltyBeatz (Beyoncé, Tems, Jorja Smith), JAE5 (J-Hus, Dave, Skepta), KillBeatz (Ed Sheeran, Wizkid, Burna Boy) and AoD (FKA Twigs, Doja Cat, Stormzy), See What We’ve Done is sleek, cohesive and emotionally rich, while still leaving room for artistic individuality. Sonically, the project moves confidently between afrobeats, R&B, and pop music, blending those melodic sensibilities into a refined, contemporary and globally resonant sound. The album honours the musical roots of both Mr Eazi and King Promise, while pushing confidently into new territory, reflecting where they have come from and where they’re taking African pop music next.

Across See What We’ve Done, Mr Eazi and King Promise shape a richly textured journey through reflection, celebration, romance, legacy and evolution. The album opens with ‘Where Have You Been?’, the project’s oldest and most emotionally exposed record, setting the tone with a sense of longing. That vulnerability flows into ‘That Way’, an instantly magnetic afrobeats reimagining of the Backstreet Boys’ classic ‘I Want It That Way’. On ‘Mariana’, the pair revisit the tender, slow-burning sound that first made their collaborations so resonant to deliver one of the album’s most intimate moments. ‘Taste’ follows as one of the project’s most immersive highlights, capturing the lingering energy of someone whose presence refuses to fade, before ‘Criminal’ raises the temperature with playful danger and undeniable pull, turning irresistible attraction into a swaggering standout.

The second half deepens the album’s emotional and sonic range with equal confidence. ‘Baby I’m Still Jealous’ revisits the emotional honesty of one of their most beloved earlier collaborations, blending true storytelling and resonance into the personal and instantly familiar track. From there, ‘No. 1 Fan’ injects a shot of high-energy momentum, arriving as a stage-ready anthem built to make crowds move from the opening seconds. That energy carries directly into ‘Mad Ting’, a bold fusion of afrobeats and dancehall packed with brightness, attitude and swagger. Closing the project, the title track ‘See What We’ve Done’ lands as a vibrant statement of success, friendship and well-earned triumph, bringing the album full circle with a celebratory reflection on growth, chemistry and legacy.

According to both Mr Eazi and King Promise, their See What We’ve Done album is a celebration of friendship, growth, and gratitude, and that spirit sits at the heart of the project. It captures Eazi and Promise at a point where their successes no longer need exaggeration and their artistry no longer needs explanation, delivering a project rooted in genuine admiration for one another’s creativity and a shared desire to create something honest, timeless and fully reflective of who they are today. With the album’s lead singles already surpassing 30 million plays online, and charting in more than 11 territories across the UK, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, See What We’ve Done stands as a bold statement of friendship, creative alignment and African music’s continued global ascent – with artists like Mr Eazi and King Promise continuing to shape its expansive future.

MORE ABOUT MR EAZI

Mr Eazi is a GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY award winning musician, creative visionary and one of Africa’s most influential and most streamed artists, with over two billion streams. Raised in Nigeria and breaking out of Ghana, Eazi is the creator of the seminal afropop sound Banku Music, a mellow fusion of Ghanaian highlife grooves, Nigerian chord sensibilities and Pidgin-laced storytelling. Amongst the first African artists to perform at the world-renowned Coachella Festival, he is known for essential afropop classics including ‘Skin Tight’, ‘Leg Over’, ‘Miss You Bad’ and ‘Patek’, and a run of groundbreaking collaborations with icons such as Beyoncé, Bad Bunny, Nicki Minaj, Diplo, J Balvin, and Angélique Kidjo. His coveted discography includes two cult-classic mixtapes Life Is Eazi Vol. 1: Accra To Lagos and Life Is Eazi Vol. 2: Lagos To London, and his critically acclaimed debut album The Evil Genius, championed by the likes of New York Times, Rolling Stone, and Billboard.

Beyond his own music, Mr Eazi is a builder. Through his independent ecosystem, emPawa Africa, which spans across label, distribution and publishing, he has funded, mentored and scaled a new wave of African talent, helping launch the careers for Joeboy, Fave, J.Derobie, and more. He co-founded the dance project Choplife Soundsystem with BBC 1Xtra’s DJ Edu in 2023, and he continues to bridge culture and commerce as an innovator and business leader. His first-of-its-kind art initiative for The Evil Genius united 13 visual artists from eight African countries, with exhibitions in Accra, London, and Lagos – another expression of his mission to platform African creativity on its own terms, while his keynote talks at Google, TED, MIDEM and the UN reflect his role as a global advocate for Africa. In 2025, Mr Eazi stands as artist, entrepreneur and activist in equal measure, expanding African music’s global footprint while opening doors for the next generation.

MORE ABOUT KING PROMISE

Born and raised in Accra, King Promise has become one of Africa’s most distinctive modern hitmakers, whose music helped define the modern Ghanaian wave. Known for his velvet vocals and undeniable star presence, the award-winning artist is an emotionally fluent singer, songwriter and performer whose effortless sound sits at the sweet spot between afrobeats, highlife, R&B and hip-hop. Raised on a diet of reggae, classic R&B, boyband pop and Ghanaian highlife, thanks to a “music head” father who kept the house loud, King Promise grew into what he proudly calls “the vibe supplier”, and an ardent storyteller writing from lived experience, whether it’s love, hustle, nightlife or family. After early standouts like ‘So Special’ and ‘No Problem’, his breakout hit ‘Thank God’ featuring Fuse ODG set the tone for a career built on captivating songwriting, feel-good energy, infectious melodies, and songs that make people move without losing emotional resonance.

King Promise has since evolved into an international force with a catalogue of era-shaping hits and essential tracks such as ‘Oh Yeah’, ‘Commando’, and the worldwide smash hit ‘Terminator’, as he pairs his Ghana-rooted identity with global reach and impact. A natural collaborator and scene-connector, he has worked with an international roster that includes Wizkid, Davido, Sarkodie, R2Bees, Juls, NSG, Mabel and Fridayy to deliver some of the biggest global music songs of the modern era. He continues to stay sonically curious in his music, pulling inspiration from Ghanaian drill, the South African amapiano movement, and UK Black music, without ever diluting the smooth signature that fans know him for. Coming on the back of the success of his third studio album True To Self, King Promise continues to sharpen his mission as both hitmaker and cultural bridge – always supplying the vibes with craft, warmth, and the kind of timeless melody that travels.
