D.I – Inspired By The Love For Drums And Set To Rule The Music World

Music is a chore for some and for others it is simply a passion that lights a fire in the creative soul. Daniel Othuke Isele was born into a family that loved music and from a tender age, his passion began to shine through . He had an exceptional ability on the drums even right from being toddler beginning with drumming on gates and cups. D.I as he goes by made his own artificial drum at age 5 then at age 15 he went to Church one day , got on the drums and started to play (WATCH HERE)
 

The gift of drumming has taken the talented Maryland based act around the world and his career as a solo artist was forged on the back of a successful drumming career. Drums explain his unique approach to music “I love rhythm, pauses and time. Drums gives me a sense of purpose, it helps me serve the music better, it also makes people dance and happy, “He says.

D.I’s versatility makes his brand unique and his multi-talented nature defines him. He plays the bass and piano apart from his first love the drums . His style is defined as Afro-fusion with a fusion of different elements in his career as a musician . A synergy of live music and digital sound.

D.I is inspired by life and reality in making music as he wants to see people happy , dance and be joyous. He has worked on several musical projects including the Album , Afro Sensation. “I have worked on several music projects as a Drummer and Artist. As a drummer, I performed for the opening of fifa World Cup in South Africa featuring R.Kelly, Rugby World opening 2011, New Zealand. Moreso, as a drummer I have shared stages with Richard Bona, Ema, Jonathan Burtler, George Beson, Brooklyn funk, Femi kuti and a lot more.”

As an Artist, he has performed at the Next Generation Awards DC, Uollywood Awards Florida, rising Star Awards Philadephia and many more.
